Fermín López is expected to soon extend his contract with FC Barcelona until 2031, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The 22-year-old midfielder has established himself in the first team since 2023 and is enjoying an outstanding season: 10 goals and 10 assists in 24 matches. He has become a key player for Hansi Flick. Despite interest from Chelsea, Barça is determined to keep their talented star. The new deal is set to include a significant salary increase—around 50% more than his current wages—as well as performance-related bonuses.
This extension allows the club to secure the player’s future and bet on him for success in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League.
