Barcelona squad handed extended break by Hansi Flick | OneFootball

The members of La Liga champions Barcelona’s squad not called up for international duty for November have been afforded a well-earned rest late this week.

This comes amid confirmation that Thursday marked the Blaugrana’s final training session until next Tuesday.

As per a report from Jijantes, Hansi Flick has handed his players a full four-day break, ahead of kicking back into gear preparations to face Athletic Club next week.

So, just who will benefit from this break?

Of those not called up by their respective nations, the following Barca players have been put through their paces in group training at the Ciutat Esportiva across the week to date:

Alejandro Balde, Eric García, Joan García, Wojciech Szczęsny, Eder Aller, Gerard Martín and Marc Bernal.

The likes of Raphinha, Pedri and Gavi, on the other hand, will continue with their respective individualised recovery programmes, amid spells on the sidelines through injury.
