Bayern Munich have approached Chelsea regarding striker Nicolas Jackson, according to Sky Sports Germany. The Bundesliga side enquired about “the current situation, price and conditions” for the 24-year-old, who could leave Stamford Bridge after just one full season.

Jackson, who registered 19 goal contributions in 37 appearances last term, is valued at approximately €65 million. The report also indicates Newcastle United are seriously monitoring the player, particularly after missing out on Benjamin Sesko.

While talks over Nick Woltemade remain stalled, Bayern continue to explore alternatives. “We have our squad set and will see what happens,” said Bayern sporting director Max Eberl on Thursday.
Chelsea may now have a decision to make as interest in Jackson intensifies.
Nicolas Jackson may not be a flawless striker, but his raw talent, physical presence and contribution last season suggest he is far from surplus. Nineteen goal involvements in 37 matches is a solid return for a player still adjusting to the Premier League.
If Bayern’s enquiry is serious, then the €65 million valuation becomes the next point of debate. For many Chelsea supporters, that number would represent a strong return on investment, but it also triggers concern. Are they selling too soon?
The interest from Newcastle adds pressure. While Bayern have Champions League pedigree, Chelsea must also consider what a direct Premier League rival gaining Jackson might mean.
There’s hope that if Chelsea do part ways with Jackson, it’s because they have a plan. Not just a signing in mind, but a structure that suits the squad. If not, it risks repeating past mistakes.
Expectant fans want clarity. If Jackson stays, let him thrive. If he goes, ensure the next move strengthens the rebuild, not weakens it.
