Benfica ‘to ask’ €45m for Richard Ríos amid Premier League interest | OneFootball

According to Caught Offside, Benfica will only consider bids from €45m for Richard Ríos, with Rui Costa’s board setting a figure aimed at deterring suitors.

Manchester United have been linked in recent days and Fulham, managed by Marco Silva, are also monitoring the Benfica No 20.

The club are seeking a profit on any sale after paying €27m to Palmeiras for the Colombia midfielder.

Ríos endured an inconsistent start to the season but his recent form has drawn wider attention. Italian sides Napoli, Inter Milan and Roma are also following him.

This season he has made 42 appearances for Benfica, 24 in the Liga Portugal Betclic, 12 in the Champions League, three in the Taça de Portugal, two in the Taça da Liga and one in the Supertaça. Across 3,368 minutes he has five goals and five assists. He is valued at €22m.
