Inter legend Beppe Bergomi would not risk Lautaro Martinez if he has a muscle injury and predicts Barcelona will press the Nerazzurri from start to finish at San Siro.
Inter and Barcelona return to action on Tuesday for the second leg of the Champions League semifinal.
The first leg in Spain ended in a 3-3 draw last week.
Bergomi, a former Inter and Italy defender, a 1982 World Cup winner, previewed the game during Sky Sport Italia‘s Sunday night show.
Inter are waiting for updates on Lautaro Martinez, while Barcelona ace Robert Lewandowski has been confirmed in the Catalans’ travelling squad.

“Both Lautaro and Lewandowski are decisive, I expect the same kind of match as in Barcelona,” Bergomi said.
“Bayern pressed from start to finish in both games, and you have to withstand that and hit from set pieces. Compared to Bayern, who had to recover from one goal down, Barcelona may be a bit more cautious, but it’s not in their nature. Surely they are more dangerous with Lewandowski.”
Lautaro had sustained a muscle injury during last week’s game in Barcelona and missed Saturday’s Serie A match against Hellas Verona.
“Lautaro is the captain; he has to create, hold up the ball and not be dispossessed, but if he has a muscle problem and he’s not fully fit, then it’s pointless,” Bergoi argued.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will provide the latest team news during a pre-match press conference today.
The Nerazzurri will train at Appiano Gentile in the afternoon.
