Bournemouth turned down £50 million bids from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur for Antoine Semenyo this summer, per the Telegraph’s Jason Burt.
Semenyo signed a five-year contract with the Cherries in July, which included a release clause.
Despite penning a new contract, Bournemouth do not expect the 25-year-old to stay for long at the Vitality Stadium.
Semenyo has been in the form of his life this season, bagging six goals and three assists in eight Premier League matches.
His contributions have helped Bournemouth make an impressive start to the season.
Andoni Iraola’s side are fifth in the league standings ahead of their home fixture with Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Semenyo is an academy graduate of Bristol City, where he rose through the ranks to make 125 senior appearances and score 21 goals.
His excellent performances in the Championship convinced the Cherries to spend £10m to secure his services in January 2023.
Semenyo hit the ground running, tallying 28 goals and 13 assists in 98 matches across all competitions.
He played a pivotal role in helping Bournemouth secure a ninth-place Premier League finish last season, recording 17 goal contributions in 37 fixtures.
