On Saturday 14, coach Carlo Ancelotti will watch the Botafogo v Flamengo derby at Nilton Santos, also in the Campeonato Brasileiro. He will observe other games in the coming days as well.

The Italian is evaluating Léo Ortiz and Léo Pereira, left back Alex Sandro, midfielder Lucas Paquetá and centre forward Pedro. Flamengo also have several foreign internationals being monitored by their national teams.

Ancelotti will name his first 2026 squad on Monday 16. Brazil face France on 26 this month and Croatia on 31 March, both in the penultimate FIFA window before the World Cup.

Under Juan’s watch, Flamengo v Cruzeiro kicks off at 21:30 Brasília time on Wednesday 11 at the Maracanã, in the fifth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
