Reds out to build on outstanding Champions League display
It is a third game in the space of six days for Liverpool and they will be on a high after thumping Galatasaray 4-0 to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
The performance at Anfield was a big improvement from the 1-1 draw against relegation-threatened Tottenham last Sunday as the Reds missed the chance to go fourth in the table.
Though, playing before Aston Villa and Chelsea this weekend offers Arne Slot’s side the chance to lay down a marker in the battle for Champions League qualification.
Brighton, meanwhile, have responded well since losing to Liverpool in the FA Cup fourth round last month, winning three of their last four matches to allay any fears of relegation and give themselves an outside chance of qualifying for Europe.
Brighton vs Liverpool is scheduled for a 12.30pm GMT kick-off on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
The match will take place at the Amex Stadium.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on TNT Sports. Coverage starts at 11am GMT on TNT Sports 1.
Live stream: TNT Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Discovery+ app and website.

Brighton will be without long-term absentees Stefanos Tzimas and Adam Webster for the visit of Liverpool, but Kaoru Mitoma could return from injury.
Mitoma picked up a knock in the 1-0 loss to Arsenal at the beginning of the month and subsequently missed last weekend’s victory over Sunderland.
Fabian Hurzeler said at the time that the injury was not “big” but is expected to provide an update on the Japan international in the pre-match press conference.
Mohamed Salah is a doubt for Liverpool after asking to be substituted in the second half against Galatasaray on Wednesday night.
Slot said it was too early to determine whether the forward would be available for selection, though the short turnaround may see the Dutchman opt to not take any risks.
Alexander Isak has returned to individual training but remains absent along with Wataru Endo, Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni.

Doubtful: Mohamed Salah

This should be a good game, an open one that both Slot and Hurzeler will enjoy. Brighton have shown they can cause problems for the so-called bigger teams and are on a decent run.
Liverpool will know the importance of signing off for the international break with a win to boost their hopes of a top-four finish.
We expect this to be a game full of goals with Liverpool coming out on top.
Liverpool to win, 4-2.
Brighton have lost twice to Liverpool this season but are aiming to record successive home wins over the Reds after a 3-2 victory in May 2025.
