Martin Drury is at the forefront of Huddersfield Town’s League One promotion bid. The Terriers are seventh and well placed for a play-off push.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, Drury previously served under Carlos Corberan at West Brom.
A former Doncaster youth who played in non-league, Drury moved into non-league coaching before a caretaker spell at Bradford City.
He then spent time in Manchester United’s academy, before arriving at West Brom in August 2024 to replace Michael Hefele on Corberan’s staff.
After roughly six months at The Hawthorns, Corberan left for Valencia and took Drury with him, together with his goalkeeper coach and assistant manager.
Drury returned to England in the summer, joining Keith Andrews’ coaching staff at Brentford, but he left the Bees two months later.
In January this year he became one of two additions to Liam Manning’s Huddersfield backroom team. In March he was appointed interim manager until the end of the season alongside former Premier League striker Jon Stead after Manning took compassionate leave.
The 40-year-old’s recent years have spanned non-league, academy and senior roles in England and Spain.
