Standing at 6ft 3in tall, his presence would certainly be something that Chelsea would love to add in that area of the pitch. And of course, he would also arrive with vital Premier League experience now. Although how willing would his club be to even consider selling the France international? Probably not very willing at all.
TEAMtalk report that Crystal Palace are braced for mounting interest in Lacroix.
They claim that Liverpool, Chelsea, and Aston Villa are all monitoring Lacroix closely, while Bayern Munich have also been tracking his progress.
We’ll see if anything comes from this one but I’ll be very surprised if he ended up at Chelsea at the moment.
There’s also a load more speculation around the future of Cole Palmer, with the Manchester United noise just not disappearing. Palmer, like Fernandez, is obviously pretty disgruntled with things at the club right now.
Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino has joined in on that debate as well and give his opinion on what Palmer needs to do to become successful.
