Hansi Flick had cast doubt on Lamine Yamal’s availability for the Clasico on October 26. However, the latest updates are encouraging. According to reports from the Madrid daily Marca, the young Spanish forward might not only be fit for this clash against Real Madrid, but could also return to action earlier, potentially as soon as the match against Girona.

Lamine Yamal is undergoing an intensive rehabilitation program. He could rejoin group training as early as October 18 and feature in matches against Olympiacos in the Champions League, followed by the Clasico at the Bernabéu. As a reminder, Barça’s young sensation did not travel with the Spanish national team, which initially called him up before releasing him due to a setback with his injury.
