It appears that Tim Steidten is set to have another shot to impress in English football, despite his contentious exit from West Ham.

It’s understood than London rivals Crystal Palace are close to appointing the German as their Director of Football, which will undoubtedly have Hammers fans looking on to see how he gets on – or not!

Steidten was reported to be a very divisive figure in east London, with many unimpressed with how he conducted himself, which was the case from day one.

There was then the failings out with both David Moyes and his predecessor Julen Lopetegui, who both found it impossible to work with the at-the-time Technical Director.

In fact, both banned Steidten from the training ground and the team dressing room.

So, should Steidten make his way to the south of the capital to join Palace and Oliver Glasner, it’ll certainly be an interesting watch as to how that pans out.
