Corinthians finished as runners-up at the Copa das Campeãs da Fifa in London, losing 3-2 to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
According to Meu Timao, the defeat slightly trimmed their finals record since the women’s team was reactivated in 2016.
The Brabas now have seven runners-up medals from 29 finals. Besides this finish at the Copa das Campeãs da Fifa, they also fell short in the Brasileiros of 2017 and 2019, the Paulistas of 2018, 2024 and 2025, and the Supercopa Feminina of 2025. They remain on 22 titles.
Since 2016 they have failed to reach a final only seven times, namely the Brasileiro 2016, the Paulista 2016, 2017 and 2022, the Libertadores 2020 and 2022, and the Copa do Brasil 2025, with exits in the semi-finals or earlier.
Two seasons were perfect, 2021 and 2023. In 2021 they won the Brasileiro, Libertadores and Paulista. In 2023 they lifted the Supercopa, Brasileiro, Libertadores and Paulista, ending each year with a 100% record.
On returning to Brazil, Corinthians face Palmeiras in the Supercopa Feminina on Saturday at Arena Barueri, with kick-off at 16h.
