Corinthians will again provide institutional and logistical support to travelling fans, a board decision taken after incidents in Santa Catarina. During the Copa do Brasil match against Barra, organised groups entered the stadium only after the 40th minute of the first half.

According to Meu Timao, Leonardo Pantaleão, the acting president of the Conselho Deliberativo (CD), will oversee the task. He was chosen for a positive recent track record, including January's Supercopa do Brasil against Flamengo at Estádio Mané Garrincha.

On that occasion he served as representative of the Grupo de Apoio ao Torcedor (GAT), created by the CD in September 2025 after fan difficulties at the Campeonato Brasileiro match against Sport at Ilha do Retiro. Implementation was delayed by the Council's budget constraints, then resolved in January after the Polícia Militar do Distrito Federal (PM-DF) contacted CD president Romeu Tuma Júnior to discuss logistics for the Fiel at the Supercopa.

The PM-DF approached Tuma as he is known in Brasília from his time at the Secretaria Nacional de Justiça from 2007 to 2010. He then sought president Osmar Stabile's approval to reactivate the GAT with Pantaleão leading it. Pantaleão had already held similar meetings with police in several states during 2025, work paused after his election to the Council in September.

Despite success at the Supercopa, the GAT's activities were again suspended, largely due to political instability between the board and the Council. That pause ultimately contributed to the issues seen in Santa Catarina with Corinthians supporters.

Pantaleão's new brief is a direct appointment from the board and is not tied to the GAT. The Council-linked group remains inactive until a new representative is chosen.
