Corinthians are through to the last 16 of the Copa do Brasil Feminina after a 1-0 win at Palmeiras at Allianz Parque, securing progression and fresh prize money.
According to Meu Timao, the round-of-16 berth is worth a further R$ 100,000 from the CBF, on top of the R$ 80,000 already earned for taking part in the third phase.
The pot can grow as they advance. A quarter-final place would add R$ 120,000, semi-finalists receive R$ 140,000 and finalists R$ 200,000. The champions collect R$ 1.1 million and the runners-up R$ 550,000, taking a potential total to R$ 1.5 million if they lift the trophy.
Their last-16 opponent will be decided by a CBF draw. Possible rivals include Atlético-MG, Coritiba, Fluminense, Bahia, Atlético-PI, Flamengo, Botafogo, Ferroviária, Itabirito, Cruzeiro, 3B da Amazônia, Red Bull Bragantino, Vasco, Internacional and the winner of Mauaense v São Paulo.
Despite qualifying, the Brabas have no official fixtures during the World Cup pause. To maintain sharpness, they have arranged friendlies against the United States Under-23s on 5 June at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava and 9 June in Cotia.
