Premier League side Crystal Palace have reportedly joined the race to sign Vasco da Gama forward Rayan the 19-year-old who has been enjoying a breakthrough season in Brazil.
According to ESPN Brasil, Palace have opened talks with Vasco’s board to gather information on the potential cost of securing the young striker.
The Eagles are reportedly keen to move quickly, hoping to get ahead of competitors and complete a deal in the European summer transfer window of June 2026.
Rayan’s form this year has been exceptional. In 2025, he has played 55 games for Vasco, scoring 20 goals and providing one assist. He has also represented Brazil at youth level, appearing in ten matches and contributing two goals and one assist.
Aware of the growing interest, Vasco recently extended Rayan’s contract until December 2028 and raised his release clause to €80 million (around £70.1m), signalling their intent to hold on to the player until the summer window, when European clubs are most active in the transfer market.
