David Jurásek, the former Benfica left-back, is thriving at Slavia Prague, with form that has brought renewed praise and a recall to the Czech Republic squad. According to Glorioso 1904, he is posting strong numbers as he looks to relaunch his career.
He left Benfica after only 12 appearances. Signed for €14m in summer 2023, he was sold three years later for €3m, with a further €1m tied to a future sale and 50 percent of any remaining value from such future deals.
After arriving under Roger Schmidt, limited minutes prompted a January 2024 loan to Hoffenheim. The deal was extended for another season and he totalled 34 Bundesliga games. The first half of this season was spent at Besiktas, where he played 17 times, before rejoining Slavia on a contract to 2029.
Since returning, his level has drawn favourable notices at Slavia. In February, head coach Jindrich Trpisovsky was notably pleased with his immediate adaptation and output, and the full-back is currently valued at €4.5m.
This season he has made 25 appearances across competitions, 10 in the league in Türkiye, seven in the Czech league, one in the Czech Cup, four in Conference League qualifying, two in Europa League qualifying and one in the cup in Türkiye. Across 1,784 minutes, the 25-year-old has provided two assists.
