Dembélé dazzles, Balerdi flounders as PSG rout OM 5-0

Ousmane Dembélé ran riot with two goals and an assist as Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Marseille 5-0, while Leonardo Balerdi endured a torrid evening.
According to L'Équipe, Dembélé was the standout alongside the surging Nuno Mendes, whereas Balerdi received the lowest marks in a Marseille back line repeatedly undone. Pavard and Weah also struggled, and De Lange’s kicking wavered even as the woodwork rescued him four times.
Dembélé swept in Mendes’s cross on 12 minutes. Safonov denied Gouiri on 15, then Dembélé slalomed through to make it two on 37.
After the break, Neves drew a save on 50 and Doué struck a post. Paixao’s 55th-minute header was turned away by Safonov before Neves forced Medina into an own goal on 64.
Kvaratskhelia, on since 62, volleyed in for 4-0 on 66. Dembélé then supplied an assist on 67, and Lee, introduced on 68, rounded things off on 74.
Marquinhos was assured at the back and Pacho solid, while Zaïre-Emery filled in at right-back without fuss. Timber showed bite for Marseille but the collective unravelled.
