Denzel Dumfries signs for Real Madrid on contract to 2030 | OneFootball

Real Madrid have completed the signing of Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan. The club said in a statement that the Netherlands right-back has agreed a four-year deal to 30 June 2030.

José Mourinho continues to reshape his squad, with Dumfries set to compete with Alexander-Arnold following Dani Carvajal's departure. He becomes the third defensive addition after Ibrahima Konaté and Marc Cucurella.

Powerful and direct, Dumfries plays high up the pitch and attacks the box. At Inter he thrived as an attacking wing-back, making 207 appearances with 27 goals and 28 assists.

Dumfries heads to Madrid after featuring at the World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada, where the Netherlands went out to Morocco in the last 32. His start date depends on the club's rest plan, and his unveiling is expected to be a major summer event.
