Eintracht Frankfurt reach verbal agreement with Copenhagen’s Victor Froholdt | OneFootball

Sky Germany reports that Eintracht Frankfurt have reached a verbal agreement with Copenhagen midfielder Victor Froholdt.

The 19-year-old has signalled he would like to move to Germany and will likely sign a contract at die Adler until 2030. Frankfurt will now begin negotiations with the Danish champions.

Bild reports that Copenhagen will demand around €20m for Froholdt as there are several other teams interested in the midfielder. This is a fee that Frankfurt will not pay.

If a deal for Froholdt does not come into fruition, then Frankfurt have other names on their list, including Valentin Atangana from Stade Reims and James McAtee from Manchester City.

Scandinavia to Frankfurt is becoming a well-tread path in recent years after Hugo Larsson moved south from Malmö, while Oscar Højlund also swapped Copenhagen for Frankfurt last summer.
