There has been an England Elite League Squad call up for this Newcastle United star.

An official FA announcement (see below) revealing the news on Friday.

Lewis Miley called up for the England Elite League Squad experience.

Good luck to the 18 year old Geordie, with games against Germany and Poland to look forward to.

‘Interim head coach Paul Nevin has named his England men’s Elite League Squad for November’s games against Germany and Poland.

The Young Lions are in action at Chesterfield against the Germans on Friday 15 November (7pm GMT) before travelling to Pulawy for their second game on Tuesday 19 November (4pm GMT).

It was a successful October camp for Nevin’s side as they saw off Italy 2-1 and Czechia 3-0 in the EURO Elite League.

They will be looking for more success this month with the following squad:

Defenders: Ryan Andrews (Watford), Max Alleyne (Manchester City), Elijah Campbell (Ross County, on loan from Everton), Kaelan Casey (West Ham United), Ben Chrisene (Norwich City), Kellen Fisher (Norwich City), Ashley Phillips (Stoke City, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur), Jahmai Simpson-Pusey (Manchester City)

Midfielders: Oliver Arblaster (Sheffield United), Darko Gyabi (Plymouth Argyle, on loan from Leeds United), Lewis Miley (Newcastle United), Zack Nelson (Luton Town), Nico O’Reilly (Manchester City), Jacob Wright (Manchester City)
