Celtic beat Rangers on penalties at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup quarter-final, but a pitch invasion by supporters from both clubs overshadowed the Old Firm tie.
Hundreds entered the field after the shoot-out and flares were thrown into the Celtic end as tempers spilled over.
The Scottish Football Association is investigating the incidents and has condemned those who went on the pitch.
Former Leicester City boss Martin O'Neill inspired Celtic to their first Scottish Cup win at Ibrox since 1957.
Former Scotland international Charlie Adam said: "It's a disgrace. It's an embarrassment for Scottish football." He told talkSPORT.
