Ex-Man United scout on Kluivert to Leverkusen: “I think that's something he would want to do" | OneFootball

Former Manchester United and Tottenham scout, Mick Brown, opened up on transfer speculation regarding Bayer Leverkusen.

Speaking to ‘Football Insider', he outlined Die Werkself's monitoring of a certain Bournemouth winger:

"Bayer Leverkusen is interested in signing Justin Kluivert. They want a new winger or attacking midfielder to replace Florian Wirtz.

"He can definitely play football for a Champions League team in Germany, so it doesn't surprise me that he's interested in this move.

“I think that's something he would want to do [play Champions League football] if the offer actually comes,” Brown said.

The 26-year-old enjoyed a sensational season for the Cherries for whom he bagged 12 goals and provided 6 assists in 34 games.
