According to O Jogo, FC Porto are evaluating whether to open formal talks for Tottenham left-back Souza, who is not currently in the club’s plans.
The Brazilian was linked with Benfica earlier this week and shares the same representative as Galeno.

Porto are in the market for a left-back, with Zaidu and Moura contesting the role at present. One of them could depart if a reinforcement arrives.
The 20-year-old has been tracked by Porto’s scouting department since his Santos days, with staff following his progress closely.
They have also monitored two players from the same generation, Jair Cunha, a centre-back who drew a bid two years ago and was signed by Nottingham Forest, and Chermont, a right-back currently on loan at Coritiba.
