Fedpecas to become Aspecas after legal update at CD Castellón supporters’ body | OneFootball

The historic Federación de Peñas del CD Castellón, Fedpecas, is to change its name to Asociación de Peñas del CD Castellón, Aspecas.

The federation said in a statement that the switch aligns the body with current regulations and broadens its remit without losing its essence, adding that its values remain intact and the change will support growth on sporting and social fronts.

The decision follows a leadership change. An extraordinary assembly recently elected Alejandro Moll as president, replacing Alberto Aicart, and the rebrand is among the new board’s first measures.

The organisation remains the entity founded in 1999. A new logo accompanied the announcement, which was framed as a legal update rather than a break with the past.

The revised structure is designed to underpin a wider programme, not only around sport and backing CD Castellón, but also cultural, social and festive activity.
