Fifa confirms Miami to host 2027 Copa das Campeãs, Corinthians were first-edition finalists | OneFootball

Fifa announced on Tuesday that Miami, United States, will stage the next Copa das Campeãs from 27 to 31 January 2027.

The inaugural tournament was held in London earlier this year, where Corinthians finished runners-up. Their run was captured in a Conmebol documentary titled Brabas in London.

Corinthians beat Gotham FC 1-0 in the semi-final, then faced Arsenal in the final, with the hosts winning 3-2.

This will be the second edition, bringing together the continental champions of South America, North America, Europe, Africa, Oceania and Asia. The Asian champions meet the Oceanian winners first, the victor then faces Africa’s champions, and the winner of that tie advances to the later rounds.

To return, Corinthians must claim the Copa Libertadores Feminina again, with this year’s tournament in Ecuador from 15 to 31 October.

Corinthians are the competition’s most successful club with six titles, in 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Cruzeiro and Palmeiras are the other Brazilian representatives.

Before that, Corinthians focus on the Brasileirão Feminino, visiting Grêmio this Friday at 17:30 at the Estádio Francisco Novelletto in Porto Alegre, in round nine.
