Leeds United could welcome Jack Harrison back this summer amid uncertainty over his Fiorentina future.

Corriere dello Sport reports that Fiorentina are not currently looking to trigger the £6m right to buy on the winger.

Harrison left on loan in January after barely featuring under Daniel Farke. He started only once in the Premier League, a 1-0 defeat at Burnley, and made 10 substitute appearances without a goal or assist.

Farke said he would have preferred to keep him due to limited wing-back options, but accepted the move because the player had not played much and wanted minutes.

Fiorentina signed him on a six-month deal with an option to buy. The 29-year-old has 13 appearances and seven starts, with one assist in a 2-2 draw at Torino and no goals.

Fiorentina are fighting relegation, two places and two points above Lecce with eight games left. Survival would trigger around €27m (£23.5m) in clauses, tightening their summer budget and complicating calls on wide loanees.

The report adds that Manor Solomon, also signed in January, could join for about £8.7m and has two goals in 11, making him the preferred option if fitness issues clear. It concludes that, barring a sudden change of direction, Harrison will not sign and will return to Leeds, where he has two years left on his contract.

At Leeds, Facundo Buonanotte replaced him after cutting short his Chelsea loan.
