Six Flamengo players featured for their countries in the final pre-World Cup friendlies.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the warm-ups have finished and the World Cup starts on Thursday 11.

Against Egypt, Léo Pereira and Paquetá started for Brazil, each playing 45 minutes in a 2-1 win. Alex Sandro came on for 19 minutes, while Danilo logged 73 minutes after Ancelotti turned to him following Wesley’s injury.

For Ecuador, Gonzalo Plata was introduced during a 3-0 victory over Guatemala and played 16 minutes.

Colombia’s Carrascal came off the bench against Jordan in the 64th minute, finishing with 26 minutes in a 2-0 win.

Uruguay’s trio De La Cruz, Arrascaeta and Varela are also in the national set-up, although the team chose not to schedule friendlies close to the tournament.

Brazil open the Flamengo contingent’s campaign on Saturday 13 at 19:00 Brasília time against Morocco at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Ecuador play Ivory Coast on Sunday 14 at 20:00, Uruguay face Saudi Arabia on Monday 15 at 15:00, and Colombia meet Uzbekistan on Tuesday 17 June at 23:00, all Brasília time.
