Flamengo confirm two absentees for Internacional, Lucas Paquetá will re-debut at Maracanã

Flamengo face Internacional at the Maracanã on Wednesday night in the second round of the Brasileirão, with two confirmed absentees.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Saúl remains sidelined as he recovers from ankle surgery, while Jorginho, number 21, is suspended after his red card against São Paulo in the opening round.

Lucas Paquetá will be available to Filipe Luís for the first time in this Campeonato Brasileiro, and the number 20 will re-debut at the Maracanã in front of the home crowd.

The match will be shown exclusively on pay-per-view via Premiere.

Flamengo are the reigning Brazilian champions but have yet to win in the 2026 edition, having lost 2-1 to São Paulo in their opener.

They remain on zero points and sit 12th in the table ahead of Internacional’s visit.
