Flávio Rodrigues de Souza will referee Noroeste v Santos on Sunday at 16:00, at Alfredo de Castilho, in the seventh round of the Paulistão.

According to Diario Do Peixe, he will be assisted by Daniel Paulo Ziolli and Henrique Perinelli Oliveira, with Marianna Nanni Batalha as fourth official and Rodrigo Guarizo Ferreira do Amaral leading VAR.

This year he has already overseen Santos’ 2-1 win over Novorizontino on the state opener.

Last year he handled four Santos matches, a 2-1 win over Mirassol and a 0-0 draw with Novorizontino in the Paulista, and in the league a 2-2 draw with Red Bull Bragantino and a 3-1 win over Corinthians.

In 2024 he took charge of three Paulistão victories, 2-1 against São Bernardo and 1-0 in derbies with Corinthians and Palmeiras. In 2023 he refereed a 1-1 draw with Ferroviária and a 3-1 defeat to São Paulo in the state, plus a 2-1 league win over Palmeiras.

Earlier appointments include 2022’s 2-2 draw with Novorizontino in the Paulista and two Corinthians league meetings, 0-0 away and a 1-0 home defeat, the latter featuring controversy over Lucas Barbosa’s dismissal. In 2021 he oversaw a 3-0 loss to Ponte Preta and acted as VAR for a 2-2 draw with Santo André in the state. He also refereed a 0-0 with Corinthians in the league that year.

In 2020 he controlled a 2-0 win over Botafogo-SP and a 0-0 with Palmeiras in the Paulista, plus a 2-2 with Palmeiras in the Brasileiro. In 2019 he officiated a 0-0 with Palmeiras in the state and two home league derbies, a 2-0 win over Palmeiras and a 1-1 with São Paulo.
