Four more players involved in Juventus-Roma talks for Chiesa and Abraham | OneFootball

According to reports in Italy, Juventus and Roma are not only discussing Federico Chiesa and Tammy Abraham but at least four more players have been mentioned during negotiations between the two clubs.

Juventus and Roma are in talks over a potential swap deal and while the Giallorossi inquired about Chiesa, the Old Lady asked after English striker Abraham, who is seen as a valuable backup for Dusan Vlahovic.

Gazzetta confirms that Chiesa is waiting for offers from abroad, so Roma are currently not his first option. However, the Italian ace is aware of Daniele De Rossi’s strong interest, so he hasn’t yet ruled out a move to the Stadio Olimpico.

According to Gazzetta, Roma and Juventus have discussed other players too.

Roma are interested in Matias Soulé and have been offered Arthur Melo, while Roma’s Stephan El Shaarawy could be a potential replacement for Chiesa in Turin.

According to the report, Juventus value Soulé at €40m, while Roma are not entirely convinced about Arthur, who has attracted interest from Newcastle and Everton.

As per Corriere della Sera, Juventus asked after Bryan Cristante, but Roma are unwilling to sell the Italy international.

Talks between the two clubs are still at a preliminary stage and no formal negotiation has yet started.
