More pressure was heaped on Rob Edwards as Wolves suffered a dire 3-0 defeat at Brighton, creating precious little in reply.

The hosts scored after 35 seconds then again in the fifth minute, with Wolves' defending embarrassing on both occasions. Wolves steadied a touch but were unconvincing before a late third sealed it. As reported by ExpressAndStar.com, it was another bruising watch for the travelling support.

Chants against Fosun began soon after that second goal. The away end then chose to enjoy themselves, singing about Nuno Espirito Santo, Ruben Neves, Raul Jimenez and Joao Moutinho among others, as they have done many times in this dismal season. Boos met half-time and full-time.

Wolves registered zero xG in the first half, a remarkable and worrying figure. Yerson Mosquera and Hwang Hee-chan had openings after the break and one should have been taken. Otherwise there was little, Adam Armstrong was quiet and the substitutes offered no spark.

During the warm-ups Joao Gomes handed his training jacket to the only Wolves mascot, a small gesture that underlined his character even if he is likely to leave this summer. The away following showed theirs too, travelling in numbers for the long trip to Brighton.
