Joshua Zirkzee (24) is reportedly exploring a move away from Manchester United in the January transfer window, amid growing frustration over his lack of playing time, according to Sky Sports.
The 24-year-old Dutch forward, who joined United from Bologna just 18 months ago in a £36.5m deal, has found himself on the fringes of Ruben Amorim’s squad. Zirkzee has been an unused substitute in four of United’s seven Premier League fixtures this season, a situation that has left him “deeply frustrated,” as reported by the outlet.
With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, Zirkzee is said to view a mid-season move as essential to reigniting his chances of earning a place in the Netherlands squad. His limited opportunities at Old Trafford contrast sharply with the promise that surrounded his arrival, when he was expected to provide both depth and competition in attack.
Interest in the striker remains strong across Europe, with Serie A giants Napoli and Juventus, as well as Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven, reportedly monitoring his situation.
