Fulham sent a playful parting message to Harry Wilson after he joined Leeds United on a free transfer.

The club said in a statement that he had departed at the end of his contract and they wished him well, two games a season aside.

Wilson spent five years at Fulham, delivering 36 goals and 46 assists in 187 appearances. The club highlighted the quality of his strikes, including long-range efforts and last season’s trivela against Crystal Palace.

He leaves after a career-best campaign in which he won Player of the Season. He posted 11 goals and eight assists in 38 Premier League and FA Cup matches, averaging roughly one goal involvement every other game.

Leeds confirmed the 29-year-old’s four-year deal on Wednesday, 10 months after a deadline-day move fell through. He will link up with Daniel Farke’s squad for pre-season following a training camp in Portugal, and is set to face Fulham at Elland Road on December 19.
