Gabigol undergoes pubis treatment, expected back with Santos on Wednesday | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Gabigol underwent a procedure on his pubis at the weekend. He is not considered a concern and is expected to rejoin the Santos squad on Wednesday.

He sat out the 0-0 draw with Cruzeiro in the eighth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro due to contractual reasons, and has felt discomfort in the area since his spell with the Minas club.

The therapy uses the player's own blood to speed recovery, and it was carried out in Belo Horizonte during the FIFA window.

Head coach Cuca has given the squad two days off during this period.

Brazil play France on 26 and Croatia on 31 in the United States during this break. The expectation is that Gabigol will be available to face Remo at Vila Belmiro on the second.

The striker has been Santos' standout this season, with seven goals and two assists, leading the club for goal involvements in 2026.
