Garro moves joint seventh among Corinthians’ foreign appearance makers after Fluminense defeat | OneFootball

Rodrigo Garro has become Corinthians’ joint-seventh most-used foreign player, reaching 118 appearances during Wednesday’s 3-1 loss to Fluminense at the Maracanã in the Campeonato Brasileiro.

According to Meu Timao, he could move into sixth place with his next outing, as Bruno Méndez currently has 119 games for the club.

Ángel Romero leads the foreign appearance list on 377, with Fabián Balbuena on 167 and Freddy Rincón on 158.

Garro has started 94 of those matches and has 16 goals plus 26 assists, giving him 42 direct goal contributions.

He also features in other club ledgers, ranking as the 16th top scorer at Neo Química Arena, the 34th midfielder with most games and the 45th highest-scoring midfielder.

With Garro available, Corinthians host Internacional on Sunday 5 April at 19:30 at Neo Química Arena in the 10th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
