Leicester City manager Gary Rowett has issued injury updates on young winger Jeremy Monga and goalkeeper Francisco Vieites.
Monga, only 16-years-old, has made 22 Championship appearances this season, and had an impressive breakthrough campaign for the Foxes.
But Rowett says the Englishman has picked up a small injury and may be at risk of missing the game against Bristol City: “Jeremy (Monga) has a little injury. We’ll have to make sure we look after him.”
Number one goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is currently out with an ankle issue, and has now been joined on the sidelines by the Foxes’ number two option Vieites.
Rowett said: “Francisco (Vieites) twisted his knee [on Friday] so that was a blow for us, with Asmir (Begovic) out too, for it to happen in such quick succession.”
That means third choice Jakub Stolarczyk is in line to start the game against Bristol City, after he also started the 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town at the weekend.
Leicester are currently 22nd and in the relegation zone in the Championship. Rowett has 10 games left to keep the Foxes up, and they are one point adrift of safety.
