RB Leipzig have extended goalkeeper Timo Schlieck's contract by an additional two years until 2029. The 20-year-old is currently on loan at SpVgg Greuther Fürth, where he has featured nine times in the 2. Bundesliga.
Despite being sidelined with a thigh injury in recent weeks, the goalkeeper has since recovered and will now be looking to help Fürth stay up via the relegation play-off.

Schlieck joined the RBL academy from Borussia Dortmund's youth set-up in 2021. Three years later, he put pen to paper on his first professional contract at RBL.
The goalkeeper spent the 2024/25 season on loan at RSC Anderlecht, featuring in 21 competitive games for the club's reserves in the Challenger Pro League. He then moved to Fürth on loan in summer 2025.
