Goizalde Santamarina to remain on Jon Uriarte’s board at Athletic | OneFootball

The club said in a post that Goizalde Santamarina will remain on Jon Uriarte’s board, continuing as a prominent link with supporters’ clubs.

The decision settles one of the remaining questions as Uriarte’s group shapes its next stage at Athletic, and keeps continuity in a key area.

She remains in post after the departure of Gorka Cubes, who had shared liaison duties. Cubes will not continue on Uriarte’s board for personal and professional reasons.

Meanwhile, Guillermo Ruiz-Longarte also stays in the club’s economic set-up. Linked to Tubacex, he has served as treasurer this term and is regarded as a key figure.

The next team at Ibaigane is taking shape. Alongside Jon Uriarte, those set to remain include Nerea Ortiz, Jon Salinas, who will stay as secretary, Xabi Álvarez, Ibon Naberan, Nacho Urigüen, Roque Echániz, Jon Ruigómez, Laura Ruiz de Azua and Josetxu Urrutia.

Also leaving their posts, in addition to Cubes, are Ainhoa Iza and Garazi Unibaso.
