Paris Saint-Germain are set to bank about €60m from Gonçalo Ramos’s move to AC Milan, their second-biggest sale. Only Neymar’s €90m exit to Al Hilal in 2023 is larger.

According to L'Équipe, Ramos leaves at a slight loss, having cost €65m after a €20m paid loan, and without fully justifying the outlay.

Neymar had joined PSG for a record €222m in 2017, and his Saudi stint brought seven appearances, one goal and three assists.

No other PSG sale had surpassed €50m until Manuel Ugarte’s €50m move to Manchester United in late 2024, a year after a €60m switch from Sporting CP. He has yet to establish himself despite 45 matches, two goals and six assists.

Xavi Simons’ definitive sale yielded between €50m and €80m when he joined RB Leipzig in winter 2025, before he moved to Tottenham and became one of the key figures in their survival.

Also among the biggest exits are Marco Verratti to Al Arabi for €45m in 2023, Gonçalo Guedes to Valencia for €40m, David Luiz back to Chelsea for €35m in 2016, and Ronaldinho to Barcelona for just over €30m, the only pre-QSI name in the top 20.

As PSG await confirmation of Ramos’s exit, attention could turn to Lee Kang-in. Under contract until 2028, he retains strong interest, notably from Atlético de Madrid, and has 50 caps and 10 goals for South Korea.
