Marseille beat Angers 5-2 at Stade Raymond Kopa on Saturday to stay third in Ligue 1.

In the 19th minute Amine Gouiri turned in Michael Murillo's cross to set Les Phocéens on their way. Mason Greenwood doubled the lead (24.), Hamed Junior Traoré added a third (34.), and Tim Weah glanced in a fourth (40.). Amine Sbaï pulled one back in the second minute of first half stoppage time. Greenwood's strike takes him to 12 league goals, top of the Ligue 1 scoring chart.

After the restart Greenwood rattled the crossbar (53.). Herve Koffi made six saves but could not stem the flow as Les Phocéens dictated play.

Substitute Igor Paixão finished the visitors' fifth from Pierre-Emile Højbjerg's pass (88.). Jim Allevinah replied for Angers in the second minute of second half stoppage time from Harouna Djibirin's assist.

Les Phocéens recorded 23 attempts with 11 on target and had 66% of the ball. Angers mustered seven attempts.
