After a double change in the 58th minute, Les Olympiens carried more punch down the left, with Igor Paixão drawing a low stop from Lukas Hradecky (59.) following Matt O'Riley's flicked header.
Les Rouge et Blanc were frequently caught beyond the line, flagged offside six times as they chased parity late on.
Les Olympiens registered eight shots on target from 18 attempts and finished with 57.6% possession. Les Rouge et Blanc posted seven shots on target from 18 attempts.
Next, Les Olympiens visit Bourg-Péronnas in the Coupe de France. Les Rouge et Blanc travel to Auxerre in the Coupe de France.
