Santos will finish the 13th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro in the relegation zone after drawing with Bahia. Wins for Grêmio and Corinthians on Sunday dropped them to 17th on 13 points, level with Internacional but behind on goal difference, minus 3 to minus 2.
At home, Corinthians beat Vasco da Gama 1-0 to reach 15 points and climb to 14th.

Grêmio also won 1-0 on their own ground against Coritiba, moving up to 11th with 16 points.
Cuca's side are without a win in two league matches, underlining a delicate spell.
Next up is an away clássico at Palmeiras, the league's outright leaders, a test that further raises the difficulty as Santos try to climb the table.
