Guedes has not trained after a knock with Portugal, but the club are calm and expect him to be available for Saturday’s match against Levante. According to Diario Vasco, Caleta-Car and Sucic will have their only session on Friday.

Matarazzo is regaining numbers after an international break in which the club had 10 internationals. Óskarsson has trained normally after nine days in Toronto with Iceland. Barrenetxea, Soler, Oyarzabal and Remiro, plus under-21 Jon Martín, have also worked as usual.

Take Kubo is building up training and Matarazzo will decide tomorrow whether to include him in the squad.

After a knock against Mexico, he was to be assessed ahead of the United States game. He did not feature in that second match.

Gorrotxategi has continued to work separately throughout the break and will not be forced, with the focus on him being ready for the final. He will miss Saturday’s game.

Aramburu, after a partial session on Wednesday, was fully involved today and will be in perfect condition to play. He is usually the last back after travelling from Venezuela, but with several teams having crossed to Canada or the United States, he was first to return to Zubieta.

Friday will be the only session with the full group before the visit of an in-form Levante. The two Croatians will train at Zubieta and it remains to be seen if Guedes also works.
