Porto beat Estrela Amadora 2-1 at Estádio José Gomes to stay top of Liga Portugal, with Deniz Gül scoring twice before substitute Jovane Borges pulled one back.

In the 17th minute, Gül converted from the spot after Oskar Pietuszewski was fouled by Kevin Höög Jansson. The forward then doubled the lead with a close range header from an Alberto Costa cross (37.).
