Leeds United forward Harry Gray is close to a season-long loan to Sheffield Wednesday, with the 17-year-old completing final formalities, Sheffield Star reports.

Gray, 17, the younger brother of Tottenham’s former Leeds star Archie, reached the first-team fringes last year and debuted as a late substitute in April’s 6-0 win over Stoke City at Elland Road.

He then travelled with the senior squad to a pre-season camp in Germany ahead of the club’s Premier League return, making the bench for the league trip to Wolves and the EFL Cup tie at Wednesday.

For senior minutes he joined League One strugglers Rotherham United on loan in January for the rest of the season. He registered 20 appearances, three goals and one assist across 1767 minutes for the Millers.

The plan has been for Gray to head out on loan again in 2026-27 to continue his development.

Huddersfield Town also pursued a deal, while a move would reunite him with former Leeds captain Liam Cooper at Wednesday.
