While many professionals publicly emphasize that they only want to think on a sporting level, Upamecano at least seems to be open to the idea – at a later date

Niedderer adds: such a move is hardly conceivable in the short to medium term. „He is extremely sought-after in Europe. Real Madrid wanted him, Paris wanted him.“ A move to the desert would hardly be justifiable in sporting terms at the moment. However, this scenario is not completely out of the question. According to consistent media reports, Upamecano has secured a fixed exit clause of €65 million. This is set to take effect from the summer of 2027.
