Himad Abdelli could join Lyon this winter as Angers talks continue | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Lyon could sign Angers midfielder Himad Abdelli this winter, with six months left on his deal, but they still need to convince Angers to release him now.

The club are in advanced talks with Real Madrid over a loan for Endrick in attack, and have already persuaded Abdelli to join this winter.

With Tanner Tessmann attracting interest in England and set to be sold if a suitable offer arrives, Lyon have moved early by targeting the Algeria international, aged 26. Angers are a surprise 10th in Ligue 1 and Abdelli has impressed this season.

He is currently in Morocco with Algeria for the Africa Cup of Nations and has already spoken with Paulo Fonseca.

Nothing has been agreed, and Angers had not planned to let him leave mid-season. Any fee could be slightly above one million euros.
