Borussia Dortmund winger Cole Campbell will not be moving to TSG Hoffenheim on a permanent basis after spending the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan at the Sinsheim-based club.
TSG Hoffenheim confirmed on Tuesday that the club will not activate their purchase option to make the 20-year-old’s loan permanent.

Campbell made just five appearances for Hoffenheim during his six-month spell.
The 20-year-old could now be set for a move to Celtic instead, with Sky Germany reporting that the Scottish champions are in talks to sign him.
Campbell’s contract with BVB runs until 2028.
