With Hamburger SV set to part ways with Jean-Luc Dompé, the Bundesliga side are looking for a new winger. According to İtalian transfer journalist Matteo Moretto, Fenerbahçe all-rounder Oğuz Aydın is among the top candidates at HSV.
Aydın has a contract until 2028 with the Super Lig club, but he has rarely played as a starter since making the move from Alanyaspor at the start of last season. The Dutch-born Turkish international played as a substitute in the Champions League preliminary round tie against Górnik Zabrze.
Fenerbahçe will host Sturm Graz on Wednesday in the first-leg of the third-round Champions League qualifiers. Aydın made his 12th appearance for the Türkiye national team when they beat the United States in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
Moretto added that Espanyol, Feyenoord and Rangers are also interested in the 25-year-old. HSV’s sporting director Claus Costa confirmed to the media that Dompe will have no future at the club for sporting reasons.
